June 5, 2008: The politicians seem to be unifying around S. 3036, the "Climate Security Act" which seeks "cap and trade" as a way to cut CO2 emissions. If they take this step it may be the largest increase in the size, scope, and intrusiveness of government since the creation of Medicare. Worse still, it may not even achieve its purpose. Please tell Congress to oppose "cap and trade." Read the details ...

How deep is the hole the politicians are digging for us?
Ever wonder where the trillions of dollars in "Stimulus" and "Bail out funds" comes from? We're BORROWING them from the PRIVATELY OWNED FEDERAL RESERVE, to be paid back with interest, of course! David Walker, former head of the Government Accountabilty Office sounded the warning to our politicians and citizens years ago. But no one listened. We're essentially charging our nation's expenses to a credit card. DownsizeDC.org is working to do something about this travesty. Learn more!

The Man Behind the Curtain
"Pay no attention to that man behind the curtain!" is the famous quote from the wizard in the movie classic, The Wizard Of Oz. However, when it comes to national and international affairs, many, if not most, Americans seem to have taken the mythical wizard's advice. They seem oblivious to the man behind the curtain.
