DesignCenter West is an award winning interior design firm, specializing in project management and specifications of residential remodels along with residential and commercial interior design.  Kassie Smith, owner and president has serviced clients residentially and commercially for over 15 years in Las Vegas .  She has supplied her clients with service and quality products for every project be it one room or an entire home.  Working closely with the client, she and her staff present a theme from information gathered on the client’s needs and wants.  Once decided, Design Center west works closely with subs and oversees all aspects of the project to ensure it's completion. 

 

The Design Challenge:   
Kassie needed to re-design this home office to be more functional,  to be more open and spacious and, to be perfect home office for Estelle & Elliot, the furnishings needed to include 2 desks to accommodate them and their  3 computers so they could work together, without feeling cramped .  Up until now there was just one desk in the room, and it seemed to take up the entire space. 

 

Additionally, since the office is located right off the living room, it's one of the first things  visitors see when they enter the home.  Estelle, described her office as "the biggest disaster you have ever seen." 

Since the room is unavoidably visible from the main living area, it should coordinate and flow with the living room , giving the area continuity and a more spacious feeling

 
Kassie coordinated the new furniture finish to the rest of the finishes in the home and got rid of the existing dark oak office look  ....

The Result:  The home/office was a fun transformation selecting new paint effects ,flooring and furniture to update the look of the room.
